Welcome To Brigitte’s Dog School
Brigitte’s Dog School is an accredited Member of the Australian Association of Professional Dog Trainers Inc. We run classes at Melton Girl Guides, 1 Pinkerton Street, Melton for all aged Dogs to all levels of training. It’s a fun environment for both dogs and owners. With a busy lifestyle why not come to Brigitte’s Dog School Saturday mornings and let our Instructors help you with your training.
Find Your Perfect Class
The optimum age to start training your dog is between 6 to 16 weeks. By providing this early training, dogs get the best possible start to living in our diverse human world and helps enable them to live a happy, well adjusted life.
4 & 10 Week Classes:
Puppy Class: The Puppy class is for dogs from 8 weeks of age to 4 months. This class is all about Socialisation and Manners. Puppies will gain valuable confidence, while their owners will learn training techniques that prevent fear and anxiety in their dogs. All Puppy classes will be run indoors from April 2024.
10 Week Basic Class: Dog owners will learn new training techniques for all Obedience commands as well as manners.
Continued Training and Social Class:
Social Class:This class is ideal for members who like to socialise and participate in fun activities. Going for group walks and coffees is the highlight of this group. To join this class you must complete the Advanced Level.
Intermediate/Advance Class: These classes are for dog owners who have completed the 10 week Basic class and want to continue with more advanced activities.
Assistance Dog Program:
The Assistance Dog Program is for people in the community who suffer from PTSD or Severe Anxiety and would benefit from having an Assistance Dog. This class is also ideal for Autistic children where the parent starts the initial training with their Dog.
